What licence do I need to play a loop at my business?

A venue licence. It covers public display at your business: a cafe TV, a waiting room screen, a shop window or an office lobby. It is $49 per loop, or 10 loops for $149. A regular loop purchase covers your own streams and videos, not a public screen.

The largest file we have for that loop, which is a 4K MP4 where one exists. Each loop page lists its resolution, and the file is yours to keep.

Do I need a public-performance licence for a silent video loop?

Performance licences (ASCAP, BMI and similar) are about music. Our video loops ship with no audio track, so for the picture itself the venue licence is the licence you need.

How do I get the file onto a TV or signage player?

Download the MP4 and load it onto whatever plays it: a USB stick in a smart TV, a signage box like a BrightSign, or a laptop plugged into the display. No streaming account or internet connection is needed once the file is on the device.

Which scenes work best for a business screen?

Rain, fireplace, ocean and forest scenes are the usual picks. They read as calm background rather than content that asks for attention.

A waiting room or storefront screen needs to loop for hours. These scenes are made for exactly that: slow, calm motion that plays on repeat.
