    What is inside

Each activity card shows the day number on top and a small family task underneath, such as making paper snowflakes for a window or baking cookies to share with a neighbour. Fold the card so only the number shows, then open one each morning. The cards print six to a page.

The 24 blank cards follow the same layout with lines in place of a task, so you can write in outings or traditions of your own. The countdown poster is a tree of 24 numbered baubles with a star at the top, and a line for the name of the child it belongs to.

Beyond the A4 and US Letter card sheets, there is a 5x7 page version and a 5x7 booklet set up for printing on A4 or US Letter paper.

    Good for

    Questions

How do the folding cards work?
Cut out each card and fold it over so only the day number is visible. On the day, unfold it to reveal the activity written inside.
Can I write my own activities?
Yes. Alongside the 24 printed activities there are 24 blank cards with lines, numbered 1 to 24, for ideas that suit your family.
What is the countdown poster for?
Children colour one bauble on the tree each day from 1 to 24, which gives them a visual count of the days left until Christmas.
