Black cat by a fireplace in a moonlit tree hollow, animated loop

About this scene

The room is carved out of a giant tree, its twisted bark walls curling around a round opening on the left. Through that gap you see a dark blue forest under a full moon, with small sparkles in the air and green and violet plants glowing low in the grass. On the right stands a stone fireplace with a log fire, a wooden wheel, jars and a small chest on the mantel, and fire irons propped beside it. A woven basket sits by the hearth, and a faded red rug covers the plank floor.

Two things move. The fire is the bright, busy part of the frame, with flames that lean and change shape all the time. The cat, sitting upright on an orange patterned cushion, keeps still apart from a slow sweep of its tail. Because the clip repeats without a visible jump, it can sit behind a starting soon screen for as long as you need.

Good for

Questions

Where does a facecam sit best in the tree hollow scene?

The rug and floor in the lower centre are the plainest area. A facecam there keeps both the cat on the left and the fireplace on the right in view.

Does the cat get up or walk around?

No. The cat stays seated on its cushion for the whole clip. Only its tail moves, while the fire carries most of the motion on the right.

Is the moonlit side too dark for overlay text?

The night forest through the opening is deep blue, so white or pale yellow text reads clearly over it. Avoid placing text over the fire, which is the brightest area.
