    About this scene

A wide fireplace of pale grey stone fills the centre, its arch carved with scrolls and a gold crest, and a stack of leather-bound books, two hourglasses and a silver goblet line the mantel. Tall pointed windows on either side look out on a deep blue night sky packed with stars, with dark towers and spires standing against it. A red velvet armchair with gilded trim waits on the left beside a pile of rolled parchment. On the right, a small wooden side table holds a lit candle, a white teapot and a cup.

Big flames rise and bend over the logs on the iron grate, throwing orange light across the purple rug and floorboards. Steam drifts from the teapot spout, and a couple of stars in the windows brighten and dim. With the hearth placed dead centre, the fire stays the focus of every frame. The clip lasts 5 seconds at 24 fps, repeats without a visible jump and has no audio.

    Questions

Is the fire large enough to work as a TV fireplace?
Yes. The flames fill most of the brick-lined opening at the centre of the frame, so on a wall-mounted TV it reads clearly as a hearth.
Do the stars in the Gothic windows move?
They mostly hold still, though a few of the brighter stars swell and fade slightly, adding a small twinkle on each side of the fireplace.
Where would chat or a camera fit around the hearth?
The two tall windows give dark, even areas left and right of the fireplace, good for side panels without covering the fire.
