    About this scene

Most of the frame is taken up by a wide circular window set in a rough ochre wall. Through it, ribbons of green light with pink and violet edges hang over a starry sky, and the dark savanna below is dotted with trees and a few pools. A woven wall hanging with zigzag patterns covers the upper left. Below the window runs a long cream daybed scattered with striped and patterned cushions. In the foreground, a white cup of amber tea rests on its saucer on a round wooden table.

On the right, a metal fire lantern glows with coals and flame, and a smaller fire burns out on the terrace beyond the glass. Steam rises from the tea in a thin, curling wisp, and the lantern fire flickers in its box. The aurora is the big visual draw but most of the life comes from the warm things inside. The low daybed gives a wide, uncluttered strip along the bottom for a webcam or a chat panel.

    Questions

Is the tea cup steaming the whole time?
Yes. A thin wisp of steam keeps rising from the cup in the lower left throughout the 5 seconds, alongside the flickering lantern fire on the right.
Would this lodge scene work as a video call background?
It is landscape 1080p with gentle motion, so it can be used in Zoom or Teams. The large window sits behind your head and the cushions frame your shoulders.
Which colours dominate the savanna lodge?
Warm ochre and orange from the walls and fire, set against the deep blue night and bright green aurora in the round window.
