    Rain animated backgrounds

Rain is the most requested mood for study streams and late-night desktops, and it does a lot of work on screen: it moves enough to show the stream is live, but it never competes with your face or your chat. Every scene here has visible rain, usually on window glass or falling past a lit interior.

The clips are short, mostly 5 or 10 seconds, and silent, so you can choose the sound yourself. Most of them repeat with the first and last frames matching, which means a long session in OBS or Wallpaper Engine shows no jump at the loop point.

20 loops. Each unlocks with one sponsored offer (we earn a commission) or your email, or you can buy it on Etsy.

    Rain loops

    Choosing and using them

Match the rain to the job

Light drizzle on glass suits a just chatting backdrop where you talk over it. Heavier rain reads better on a starting soon or BRB screen, where the background is the whole show.

    Add your own rain sound

The files have no audio track. A rain or fireplace ambience track at low volume under the clip makes the scene feel complete; keep it under your microphone so viewers still hear you first.

    Dark scenes and overlays

Most rain scenes are dark blues with warm lamp light. White chat text and alerts stay readable on them, so you rarely need a backing panel.

    Questions

Do the rain backgrounds include rain sounds?
No. Every clip here is silent. Add a rain ambience track in OBS, Streamlabs or your video editor at whatever volume suits your voice.
Will the rain look choppy when the clip repeats?
The clips marked with a matching loop point have first and last frames that line up, so the rain carries on without a visible jump. Each page lists this under the specs.
